Professor Anita Guerrini wins prestigious 2018 Pfizer Book Prize

Anita Guerrini, a Horning Professor of the Humanities and Professor of History at Oregon State University and an adjunct professor at UCSB, has won the 2018 Pfizer Award for her book, The Courtiers’ Anatomists: Animals and Humans in Louis XIV’s Paris, published by the University of Chicago Press in 2015. Pfizer Book Prize is one of the top awards in the field, awarded in recognition of an outstanding book in the history of science.
