Kristen Thomas-McGill is a PhD Candidate in the History Department and is a cultural historian of gender and sexuality who draws on the fields of literary studies, queer theory, and art history. Her innovative research and impressive information retention skills were recently profiled in The Current as a three-time participant (and winner) on Jeopardy as well as her scholarship examining child sexual abuse, celebrity, and public memory.
