Please join us for a talk by Daniel Ernst, Georgetown University Law Center.
Earnst will speak on “Government Lawyers and Bureaucratic Autonomy in the New Deal.” He is the author of the prize-winning Lawyers Against Labor: From Individual Rights to Corporate Liberalism (1995) and Total War and the Law: the American Home Front in World War II. (2003)
The talk, and subsequent discussion, is part of the History 294: Colloquium in Work, Labor, and Political Economy, 2010-2011 lecture series.
The Spring Quarter series is on Worker Rights and the Law 20th Century America.
The Colloquium meets on Friday, April 15 at 1 p.m. in 4041 Humanities and Social Science Building.
