Personal Statement:

Robert Bauman is Associate Professor of History at Washington State University Tri-Cities. Professor Bauman is an award-winning scholar whose research and teaching interests are in 20th Century U.S., social policy and race in the American West.  His book, Race and the War on Poverty: From Watts to East LA, was published by the University of Oklahoma Press in 2008.
